Alexandra Moore is a Senior Associate Solicitor with over 10 year’s post qualification experience specialising in employment Law and litigation. Alexandra trained with the Practice and following qualification, gained experience in two commercial law firms specialising in employment law. She also served on secondment with an international law firm advising UK and multinational clients on Irish employment law issues, before returning to the Practice in October 2017.

Alexandra provides commercially focused advice, both contentious and non-contentious in nature advising corporate and private clients on the legal issues arising out of the employment relationship. Alexandra advises on day-to-day issues such as employment contracts, policies and procedures, data protection, grievance and disciplinary matters, workplace investigations and performance management. Alexandra regularly advises on the termination of the employment relationship including claims of unfair dismissal, equality and discrimination claims, employment injunctions, redundancy, occupational stress and bullying claims. She regularly appears before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and the Civil Courts.

Alexandra also advises corporate clients on the commercial and employment issues in corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, business transfers, share sales, together with compliance with the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE).

Alexandra has extensive experience in the area of litigation and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and insolvency disputes before the Commercial Court.

Alexandra holds a Diploma in Employment Law and Certificate in Pension law and Practice from the Law Society of Ireland. She is a committee member of the Pensions Subcommittee of the Law Society of Ireland, a member of the Employment Lawyers Association of Ireland and is also admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
